O'NEAL, INC., 233 PEACHTREE STREET HARRIS TOWER SUITE 500
This high end build out for a national architectural firm was completed in ten weeks including the tenant’s systems furniture installation. The project features curved drywall partitions intergerating glass panels and a floating ceiling system. Lighting throughout the space is accented by high end hanging fixtuers and indirect lighting. This second-generation space was completely gutted and built back new. The space was trimmed out with an extensive milwork package that included maple trim and countertops along with standard plastic laminate cabinets. Tower Construction worked closely with the Architect to maintain the integrity of design while containing costs and performing under a tight schedule.
BTI TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES, 55 PARK PLACE LEVEL 3, 4,000 SF COMPUTER ROOM
This project is a Design/Build joint venture forming a regional switching center now processing over 1,000,000 voice and data calls per day. Items of interest include 4,000 sf of raised floor, a 20 ton Liebert unit, automatic glass doors, structural steel modifications for 30,000 pounds of emergency power battery racks and 400 lineal feet of cable trays and ladder racks.
LENOX CENTER LOBBIES & CORRIDORS, 3355 LENOX ROAD 1ST THRU 11TH FLOORS
This project involved extensive lobby, corridor, restroom and elevator improvements on all floors. All workwas performed while building was occupied. Site and tenant concerns made for extensive scheduling and phasing of construction. Many diverse elements are incorporated in the design including shop finish mahogany guard desk, granite tops and flooring, replacement of plumbing and light fixtures, new core and tentant doors and repacement of all floor and wall finishes.
NEWCOMB & BOYD, 303 PEACHTREE CENTER AVENUE SUITE 525, SUNTRUST PLAZA GARDEN
Working very closely with Portman Holding, IA Design and the tenant, Tower Interior Construction completed this ‘high tech’ 30,000 sf build out at SunTrust Plaza Garden Offices. This project features built-in plastic laminate workstations, stain grade mahogany panels, extensive laminate cabinet work, high-end lighting, open celilings and sealed concrete flooring. Extensive pricing was provided throughout the design process to facilitate value engineering as the project developed. The ‘tight ten week’ schedule, including permitting, final design details and specifications, did not detr the Tower team from successfully completing this rewarding project.
LANGFORD de KOCK & CO., 225 PEACHTREE STREET SOUTH TOWER, 8,000 SF OFFICE
Office build-out for this international accounting and consulting firm was completed in six weeks. The elliptical shaped reception area shown features custom profile wood trim and drywall ceilings and insets. Additional items of interest include art niches, random length oak flooring with carpet insets and a custom reception desk with marble top.
